The National Establishment for Agricultural and Industrial Sulphur (NEAIS) of Saeed Ghodran Group from The Kingdon of Saudi Arabia and The Tianjin Fulin Mining Company (TFMC) of Liaoning Defeng Petrochemical Group from China signed a Sales and Purchase Agreement to cement a strategic alliance to bolster the export of agricultural and industrial sulfur products manufactured in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by NEAIS to China.
This partnership aims to significantly increase the volume of exports, targeting one million tons of various Sulphur Products to the Chinese market by the FY 2026.
Mr. Ahmed Saeed Ghodran, Vice Chairman of Saeed Ghodran Group, announced that the agreement was signed by Mr. Murtada Radhi, CEO of Saeed Ghodran Group, and Mr. Wang Wei, CEO of Defeng Group.
This collaboration also aims to expand the international presence of NEAIS by jointly investing with TFMC in the setup of a manufacturing factory having an annual capacity to process around 1.8 million tons of molten sulphur, located close to the Panjin Petroleum Refining Project of Saudi Aramco, under construction in the Industrial City of Yingkou, China.
The partnership aims to leverage the lower cost of production and the innovative and sustainable technology developed by Defeng Group to compete in the Chinese market primarily and the global markets at large. The Liaoning Defeng Petrochemical Group from China is one of the top ten manufacturers and distributors of around 600,000 tons of petrochemical products such as sulfur, petroleum coke, and light hydrocarbons. In addition to indigenously built manufacturing plants they have a large distribution network in China and own a fleet of tankers and trucks as well as leased vessels for bulk transportation of products.
This strategic move reinforces NEAIS’s position as a leading company in the agricultural and industrial sulfur sector, demonstrating its commitment to providing high-quality products, continuous innovation, and sustainable practices.
