The International Federation of Sports Press (IPS) stop receiving entries for its awards this year

The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) has closed the submissions for its awards for this
year. The phase of evaluating the submissions received by the association until Saturday, November 4, has now begun.
Martin Mazur, the Executive Director of the AIPS Sport Media Awards, had invited sports journalists to participate in the current and sixth edition of the awards. In a statement, he emphasized the importance of participating in this global and comprehensive award for all specialties of sports journalism. The statement further mentioned that since the establishment of the competition in 2018, the AIPS has received works from 161 countries and awarded over $500,000 in prizes to the winners. Additionally, the association has created a category for young journalists, continental rankings to celebrate the best works at the regional level, and introduced special honors and certificates of appreciation for works that highlight the values of the AIPS, such as defending human rights and freedom of the press.
The statement also mentioned the expansion of the investigative work category to include three winners every year. The Executive Director of the AIPS Sport Media Awards expressed his wishes for sports journalists who participated in the sixth edition, which marks a milestone in the history of the association.
