“UNA” trains journalists to “boost intellectual security” and bankers to “strengthen money laundering”

Training courses have been initiated by an intergovernmental organization in partnership with an international company specializing in such programs for journalists, education staff, bankers, businessmen and small enterprises owners on “Strengthening Intellectual Security” and “Combating Money Laundering”
These courses demonstrate the prologue of first-of-its-kind collaboration between the private sector (Distance Learning and Training Company) and Union of Organization of Islamic Cooperation News Agencies (UNA), which is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
“The realization of an integrated plan for the UNA Training Center and implementation of the most important goals of the UNA in the fight against intellectual terrorism and its financing sources in all possible ways have been started,” said that Eng. Zuhair bin Ali Azhar, Chairman of the Group of Distance Learning and Training Company (the strategic partner of UNA and the operator of the UNA Training Center) and the International Cooperation Advisor of the Islamic news agencies union.
He added that intellectual security is a crucial topic that preoccupies the society and affects their lives, so, Muslim Ummah shall better start to protect its teachings, culture and identity against the cultural invasion; therefore, we have launched a series of programs related to those matters and focused on segments of society that we can pass the safe and moderate thought.
The Advisor pointed out that the courses focus on the importance of the intellectual security for the individuals and for the society as a whole, the terrorism relationship with intellectual deviancy, and observes the factors of protection against intellectual deviation. It also addresses how important the roles of the family, education and media in protecting sentiments of society.
“These courses aim to raise the awareness about intellectual and economic issues, where non-covering those issues led to significant impacts during the past few years” further Mr. Azhar said; “Saudi Arabia highly succeeded in spreading modernity, combating extremism and money laundering, which has turned the country eventually into an international model”.
“The training courses of money laundering mainly focuses on money laundering patterns, latest methods, and presenting some methods used in money laundering; the program is targeting bankers, economists, entrepreneurs and owners of small enterprises”.
The courses shall be held over the year, at the UNA Training Center in Jeddah, there will presence experts of intellectual security and enhance modernity speech, and professionals of money laundering crimes and the methods of combating them. the member states of the UNA will send trainees to attend these specialized courses.
