His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the President of the Asian Football Confederation, has been briefed on the “Our Football, Our Culture” initiative

His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the President of the Asian Football Confederation and the First Vice President of FIFA, met today with Dr. Jassim Alyaqoot, Deputy President of the Arab Media Union, member of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, and former President of Al-Qadisiyah Club.

Dr. Alyaqoot presented the goals, themes, and contents of the “Our Football, Our Culture” initiative, as well as how to utilize it for implementation across the Asian continent. The documentary book of the national initiative, “Our Football, Our Culture,” was also discussed.

Dr. Jassim Alyaqoot presented a visual document highlighting Saudi Arabia’s sporting achievements at the Asian level, in addition to a documentary book on the national initiative, “Our Football, Our Culture.” These documents carry a message of love and peace from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the people of the world, reflecting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, the goals and programs of FIFA, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Dr. Jassim Alyaqoot expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa for his warm reception, generous hospitality, and welcoming of the message of love and peace from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Asian continent.

Mr. Musa Alyaqoot, The Head of the Supervision and Monitoring Committee in the Supreme Committee overseeing the national initiative “Our Football, Our Culture,” attended the meeting.

It is expected that this collaboration will contribute to enhancing sports and cultural development in the region and deepening communication among different peoples and cultures.
