The International Peace Books Award Committee announced the launch of the award’s work today in Dubai, where the winners of the International Peace Books Award for the year 2022 in its sixth edition will be honored in cooperation with the International Commission for Tolerance and the Culture and Science Symposium in Dubai under the auspices of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO” and the United Nations for Children’s Rights. The documentary book of the national initiative “Our Ball is Our Culture” by the Saudi well known journalist, Dr. Jassim Al-Yaqout,the Vice-President of the Arab Media Union, and a member of the Union of Arab Creator, won the International Peace Books Award
The President of the International Peace Books Prize, Antonio Eminio, commended; On winning Dr. Al-Yaqout with this award; considering this as an embodiment of the Saudi sports, cultural and media movement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is witnessing as an intellectual and cultural oasis that embraces creative minds and enriches the field of innovation and creativity and the production of scientific and knowledge content.
Dr. Jassim Al-Yaqout expressed his happiness as the first Saudi to win this international award, which is an achievement added to the Saudi international achievements, as he dedicated this achievement to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman
Dr. Jassim Al-Yaqout is the first Saudi to receive this international award, as he was able to crystallize the cultural, sports, social and entertainment ideas to serve the segments of society in line with the quality of life programs and the vision of the Kingdom 2030, which won the respect and appreciation of international institutions, foremost of which isThe United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO” and the United Nations Children’s Rights Organization “UNICEF” of the United Nations.
